Adopt a camping area

With its 22 acres of camping areas there's always some maintenance to do on the outdoor areas of the centre. Since many years we offer our scout groups the opportunity to adopt a camping site.

Adopting a camping site means that your group assist in outdoor/green maintenance (in consultation with the warden) at the centre for at least one day a year. In exchange for this one day activity, which has to be repeated yearly, we rename a camping site after your group and gives you opportunity to your name up at the entrance of the specific camping site (also in consultation with the warden).

As well as having your “own” camping site at the centre you'll also be given the opportunity to have one overnight stay free of charge on this camping site.

Which camping areas have currently been adopted

      Camping site 1 - Brownsea '66 (Rotterdam)
Camping site 6 - Klaas Kitten (Rotterdam)
Camping site 7 - The Rangers (Rotterdam)
