BRING IT

As we begin our journey from Rome we, the Clan Pegaso took the first plane from Rome, Fiumicino Airport to Amsterdam at 6.30 in the morning. We were confident that our 8 day journey on bikes would be successful and result in great memories. It was not until we actually got to the airport that began one of the most complicated and surly one of our luckiest trip ever. In fact when it was time to check in already someone's ticket was being rejected, as an outcome we all had 10 shy off without one of us when we waited until 6 pm. In the meanwhile we rented our bikes ready to take Holland.....Bring it.

As our friend arrived we began our route towards the first camping site where some of us already gone to set the tents up, and here happened our second unfortunate and surely the worst thing that anyone could fear, one of us forgot a bag, with all his belongings and most importantly the groups money,€2800,- by a tree in Amsterdamse Bos by mistake of course. When we realised and as we came back every thing was gone. The following days we lost a lot of time declaring the stolen documents and asking neighbouring houses for their hospitality as we had no money to pay for camping's and going from police stations to the

Italian embassy to get new ID cards in order to fly back to Rome on Friday. From here and as many depressed members really wanted to fly back earlier we were strong and through the never-ending rain, the strong wind pushing us the wrong way. We were very lucky to find people of Holland very generous, gentle, friendly and extremely caring. And as our misfortunes never seemed to stop, slowly settled in a game were whoever had to go through as adventure (such as almost falling in the river) would be eliminated. Some of us made many friends not imagining to stop their bikes and running straight into other cyclists, other enemies asking if we could not pay for the night. After all we finally manage to laugh about everything in fact I personally think we’re slowly going crazy. We cycle more or less 30 km a day and sincerely L believe that if we ever manage to get back to Rome we’re lucky!
