History

The Scout Centre Rotterdam was founded in 1966 and is located in a 300 years old farmhouse. The farm was build around 1700 and lies on one of the oldest roads in the Netherlands .

The official opening took place after a big renovation in 1969 and has been a meeting place for scouts ever since. The centre is being maintained by the wardens who live in the farm.

The former cow stable of the farm has been transformed in to a cosy indoor-accommodation and the pastures to nice campsites bordered by bushes and water.
The former horses - and pig units have been cultivated and are now used as group-accommodation for local scout groups.
